Directions
PLEASE NOTE: The bridge on the B8034 between Arnprior and our site is closed until February 2025. Access to our site is from the Port of Menteith end of B8034. At Dykehead, turn right towards the Cardross holiday cottages. Our site is up on the right hand side, a few hundred yards past the Cardross holiday homes.
Getting here:
If travelling from Glasgow, take the A81 for Milngavie, continue through Strathblane and head north towards Aberfoyle, turning right at the junction for the A811 towards Stirling. Alternatively, follow A82 signposted to Dumbarton, Balloch & Loch Lomond until the end of the dual carriageway. Turn right onto the A81. Follow the A811 all the way through Buchlyvie and into Arnprior. Take the left-hand turning onto the B8034 towards Port of Menteith. Follow the road until you reach the sign for Dykehead - you'll see a postbox, bus stop and red squirrel sign. Turn left here (signposted to Cardross holiday cottages and Green Aspirations). Our site is up on the right hand side, a few hundred yards past the Cardross holiday homes.
If travelling from Stirling, take the A811 West towards the Erskine Bridge and Loch Lomond or, from M9, take junction 10 onto the A84 towards Doune & Callander. After approximately six miles turn left onto the B8075 to Gargunnock. At the T-Junction turn right onto the A811 signposted to Erskine Bridge. Follow the A811 into Arnprior. Take the right-hand turning onto the B8034 towards Port of Menteith. Follow the road until you reach the sign for Dykehead - you'll see a postbox, bus stop and red squirrel sign. Turn left here (signposted to Cardross holiday cottages and Green Aspirations). Our site is up on the right hand side, a few hundred yards past the Cardross holiday homes.
Parking:
We have limited parking available on site. Please car share wherever possible.
Public transport:
The X10 bus service from Glasgow and Stirling will drop you off at Arnprior. We're around 3 miles from Arnprior, along a quiet country road. Stirling council also provides demand responsive transport: see their website for more.
